My background is across software infrastructure, electronics, and mechanical systems — e-commerce operations and platform management, macOS/Windows/Linux administration, remote tech support and training, PV electrical design and installation, low-voltage electronics and PCB repair, automotive mechanics and diagnostics, systems integration between Victron energy systems and home automation platforms, and prototyping on SBCs. I've spent years thinking deeply about HCI, personal computing, and how interfaces shape how people relate to technology.
I'm drawn to the places where software meets bio-cognitive systems, and the physical world. AI, machine learning, and data engineering are becoming the connective layer across embedded systems, robotics, automation, spatial computing, and scientific domains — and I want to be building at those intersections. Right now that means agentic interfaces, personal data sovereignty infrastructure, and tools that give people real agency over how they use AI. Longer term I'm moving toward work where AI, systems engineering, and cross-disciplinary problem solving converge — whether that's industrial automation, mechatronics, virtual production, or data engineering and applied ML meet life sciences.
I'm looking for a passionate and purpose driventeam doing genuinely interesting, beneficial work where range, autonomy, systems thinking, and autodidactic depth are assets.
Oregon-based. Motorcycles, cycling, trail running, playing music across too many instruments. My friends and I tend a small suburban farm — dogs, sheep, and a cat who runs the whole operation. Most of my side projects start in the homelab, the shop, or on a long ride/run where I can think out loud.
